Hey Guys! I figured I would share some of my favorite make-up products to go along with my recent beauty tutorial for Benefit. I found these products were the best for getting a gorgeous aqua/blue eye for the summer. Here is a bit of information to describe why I love each product!
1. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
In the grand scheme of eyeshadow primers, I find this to be the best potion for your eyelids! And how amazing is the packaging? Its silky texture applies smoothly and blends like perfection making your eye-makeup look flawless for these hot summer months. This primer can be worn with both cream and powder eyeshadows. After long days at work, I’ve noticed the smallest dab of these primers go a long way. This is definitely a must-have for making your eye-makeup look its best at all times.
2. NARS Duo Eye shadow in Underworld
What I love most about the NARS Duo Eyeshadows is their velvety texture and smooth consistency. The Duo sets are amazing because both colors always compliment each other so well. The Underworld Duo is the perfect combination of a shimmery silver and a more subtle blue shimmer shadow. I LOVE the way silver looks when paired with a shimmery blue shadow because it really accentuates your eyes. These shadows are very pigmented and buildable, so a little goes a long way. I chose this color duo in particular for those of you who want to keep it subtle, but still have a bit of color in your make-up look!
3. Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner Full Color
As you guys saw in my latest beauty tutorial for Benefit, I’m in looove with these liners! I’ve been a fan of Benefit for a long time and I’m so excited they released a full color collection of their liners and mascaras. We all know the struggle of getting that perfect winged liner look in the mornings, but this liner makes it look effortless. It’s a matte gel formula, which makes it smooth to apply with its pen tip. The best part is it won’t smudge at all because of the strong matte finish, which is really helpful if you have oily eyelids. I love to play around and mix and match the liners and mascaras, which are both available in blue, brown, purple and green.
4. Benefit They’re Real! Mascara Full Color
They’re Real Mascara is known for it’s supernatural length and volume power. I have to admit these mascara’s are always my secret false lashes in a tube! Ever since I tried this mascara the results have been amazing in the volume, curl, and length of my lashes. I also love to use the tip of the brush to separate any eyelashes and curl upwards for more volume. I paired the blue liner and mascara in my recent makeup tutorial, but for those of you who may be too shy for this look, you can always layer a few coats of the mascara to brighten up your makeup.
