I know that chronic chapped lips are a bigger problem than we’re addressing here and for those of you who suffer from it, I’m so sorry and we’d love to hear about your journey in the comments below. For those of you whose lips just get chapped every now and then from winter dryness/flying/heaters, I think you’re really going to love this trick! Especially if you love all of the matte liquid lipstains  that are out there now. Liquid lipstains are amazing… except when your lips are chapped, then the formula grabs onto each “flake” and makes them stand out worse. So try this first:

• A Piece of Tape
• A Good Lip Balm — I just went back to this one ($$$) in my kit to spoil my clients but this one ($) personally got me through last winter!
• Or Your Favorite Lip Oil — If you haven’t tried a lip oil yet, you just might switch! I love this one ($$) and this ($).
• An All-Day Liquid Lipstick — I used this one ($$) in Aria but I’m also obsessed with this one ($) in all 4 shades!
