Countdown to @thesandmanofficial on @netflix Day 2 - My very first #sdcc was 1992. Cons were VERY different back then, even #comiccon . This was before I had even moved to California so it was all new and overwhelming to me. But I made sure to bring a sketch book just in case I saw any artists I liked. Back in the day a lot of artist and creators would do quick sketches when you asked them for a signature if there wasn’t a huge line or if they weren’t too busy with commissions. That year I was able to get THREE incredible #TheSandman original sketches. I was able to get #Dream from #Sandman cover artist #DaveMcKean , #Delirium from @thejillthompson and #Death from #mikedringenberg I still treasure these piece of original art 30 year later. @netflixgeeked #vertigo #dccomics @neilhimself #netflix
