During Milan Design Week finally "Fendi Fatto a Mano For the Future" event reached Italy. During 3 days the event featured the performances of london-based designer Rowan Mersh, italian artist Nicola Guerraz, Italian sculptor Sandro del Pistoia, and Fendi's own artisan Federica Antonelli. The event has been doing a trip around the world with many imporatant cities showcasing sculptural object using discarded materials from Fendi's production process.

The installation by Rowan Mersh is an assemble of punctured scraps, achieved using the holes to install the scraps into a steel framework. The shapes of the leather sculpture varies depending on the space between the holes in the leather. This holes are made using a computer which taked data from a PC. The data that decide where to do the punctuation is a heart rate.

Nicola Guerraz has made the project of a piece 3D Fendi Selleria scribbles which features five pieces of copper tubing covered with Fendi leather that was stitched together by Fendi's own artisan Federica Antonelli during the event. Nicola Guerraz then bends the pieces to transform them into tangles. After this, inside the tangles will be planted a tillandsia air plant.

In the sculpture of Sandro del Pistoia, the artist covers small wooden frameworks with leather, and then he uses these small pieces to create a leather-wood sculpture. The sculpture takes shape in forming a piece of art which shows that design and fashion go together in transforming and creating art.
