“Getting dressed is always personal and political. I want to validate my internal sense of self while also challenging the visual standard for straight men. In 2018 it’s pretty clear that whatever role play game straight people have been operating for the last century needs to be rewritten, maybe that begins with acknowledging expressions of femininity by men as something other than weakness.
