News broke today that the original Material Girl has inked a deal with the Aldo Group to produce a line of footwear called Truth or Dare by Madonna. The shoes will launch at Macy's, Nordstrom, and on ASOS.com this August and the full range of flats, heels, and boots will be priced from $89 to $349

Is Madonna actually designing the shoes herself? Kind of—okay, not really. According to the press release, the creative consultant behind the line will be Arianne Phillips, Madonna's longtime fashion collaborator—Arianne worked on Madge's film W.E..

What can we look forward to seeing? Lots of modern styles targeted at women age 27 to 50 who "have a timeless style and an innate sex appeal." The announcement promises that hardcore Madonna fans will not be disappointed—the collection will include "iconic styles Madonna is so famously known for."
