Puerto Vallarta 4.14.16 | This city is dear to me. Every year growing up, my family would come to Puerto Vallarta on vacation and stay at one of the only resorts that was built there on the beach. At that time, this city was still pretty barren, dirt roads, restaurants built of drift wood and palm leaf roofs.. it was beautiful! It’s also one of the only places I have really clear memories of quality time spent with my dad, who worked constantly when we were home and didn’t have a lot of down time on a regular basis. We would horseback ride through the mountains to see waterfalls, drink “Mexican Coke” in the classic bottles on the beach, and eat dinner in one of the little restaurants in town that kept alligators as pets in their pool.
Being back here 20 years later is a trip.. SO much has changed and developed. It’s still just as equally beautiful as I remember it to be but different, like an ex-boyfriend you haven’t seen since high school.
Lots of new memories were made on this trip (if you follow my Snap- you know!) but more to come on that in the next post. Vlog also coming soon!
I’m wearing Anine Bing’s suede lace-up jacket that I completely fell in love with last time I stopped in her 3rd Street location. Love how it already has a worn in feel and ties in the back and wrists.

Thanks for stopping in my loves! If you were at Coachella this weekend, hope you’ve recovered by now! Xx
