“Hi, my name is Charles Melton, and I’ve had clueless style...”

 It’s 4pm, and Charles Melton turns up to our West Hollywood studio wearing a crisp short-sleeve cornflower blue button down paired with tailored navy trousers and a black fanny pack worn casually across his chest. A pair of rose-tinted glasses complete his look. At this moment, it’s clear Melton’s style is far from clueless. But we’re not here to talk about the actor’s style today—though we must give him props for the glittery navy Sies Marjan suit he wore to the Met Gala earlier this week—instead, we’re here to revisit some of Melton’s, err questionable, wardrobe choices pre-The Sun is Also a Star and Riverdale fame.

 While sleek outerwear, cool shirts, and designer sneakers are current mainstays for Melton, it wasn’t too long ago baggy jeans, graphic tees, and pukka shell necklaces were on heavy rotation. So for our latest video series Would You Wear This Now? we dug up some old photos and asked the star to take a trip down memory lane. Naturally, hilarity ensued.
