Think ‘couture’ and you probably think of gowns that don’t belong on the street. And yet somehow this editorial by Benjamin Kanarek – photographed in the romantic Parisian district of Montmartre – makes it feel right at home. Outfits by the likes of Valentino, Jean Paul Gaultier, Elie Saab, Dior and Chanel are styled by Coline Peyrot with a balance of wearability and fantasy. Model Alexandra Tikerpuu wears a divine mint-green sheer couture gown brilliantly paired with cowboy boots and a prairie style hat; an Atelier Versace dusty pink midsummer night dream outfit with platform patent boots. Everything about the looks is pure gorgeousness.
