Today I completed a relatively small creative challenge (03 Time Machine) .  I was to incorporate a small touch of retro style into a more modern day look.  I did this by taking a image that looked a bit dated and had some classic feels to it.  I noted the glass coke bottle, the horizontal striped shirt, and the light faded vignette over the entire image..  

This was a fun excercise! It definitely got me thinking about where I place all the peices of the cover and overall about the context of the cover, its content, and more importantly which fonts to use and where! As someone who rarely works on magazine covers, I very much needed this excercise!
