Trendy look: the Mohican hairstyle techno-chic version of
On the catwalks for spring summer 2012 we noticed a tendency for hair very special back in fashion in a Mohican style version of techno-chic. We have found this style by various designers, not least by Gianfranco Ferre, and in the backstage of his runway show, we interviewed Mark Iafrate, creative director for TIGI Italy, who created the look for the models. He told us this look and explained, and gave us very useful information to make it home.

Influences 'Londoners'
Where did you get this look? Ask Marc Iafrate. 'I live in London,' says the Creative Director of TIGI Italy, 'and lately I'm seeing lots of young people, even not so young, with this look, Mohawk, Mohican on classic. The look of this moment is not too much as they did a few years ago but a little 'more commercial, with the base, however, more or less the same effect. We chose this look for the collection of Gianfranco Ferre because the style is very minimalist. The clothes are very clean, very elegant and pulling hair back all the attention to detail on a focus. At the same time it is still a very feminine look. '

Easy hairstyle that requires perfection

'We say that the hair itself is fairly simple to implement, yet is also very difficult because it requires a minimalist perfection to which we have to get backstage us here in no time. Five models have arrived at the last second because they had another show before this. But we managed to make some heads perfect and very graphic. '

Straight hair with a very flat sides

'For this look we want drittissimi hair, very flat with two side sections which are sprayed with lacquer and wet. The strands are then combined on the back side of the head with a rubber band and a lock out from the center of the head is lowered to hide the elastic sull'elastico itself ', explains Marco Iafrate.

Here are the steps to follow to achieve this hairstyle

1. Divide the hair into three sections . Two side and a square section at the top of the head.

2. Stretches all the hair down with the plate, preparing the hair with a product as 'Tigi Catwalk Root Boost Your Highness' which is a foam spray that goes directly on the root

3. Once ironed hair well pull the sides back with the brush. The hair should be flat and without volume.

4. Then cut the two sides , the wet well with a lacquer (we used 'Hairspray Tigi Catwalk Look Lock', a very light spray that is sprayed from a distance but dry wet hair sprayed up close, an effect that we get here)

5. Then bring back the hair side more or less the height of the occipital bone, slightly higher, and with the strap attached to the back of the head.

6. Sprinkle the central part with hairspray and crush all the way back by dropping the lock on the strap so that you do not see anything elastic.

That's it, we are ready to show off one of the most trendy and modern hairstyles of the moment.
