What kind of wear and longevity do you look for in an eyeliner? What's most/least important?

9-10 hour wear would be ideal, and if it smudges, that would be a deal-breaker. I don’t mind even fading/the line thinning over time, and I’m not pressed about waterline wear. I will give up some longevity for ease of removal.
