In the middle of Volksgarten is Theseustemple, which is a replica of the Temple of Hephaestus in Athens. The original temple of course is a well preserved temple from Ancient Greek that survived to this day. There used to be a sculpture “Theseus and the Minotaur” inside, but I can’t really find a way in. The sculpture itself has been moved to the Kunsthistorisches Museum. So without a way in, we can only enjoy the beauty of this temple from the outside, surrounding by beautiful rose gardens.
