Hello Makeup Geeks! So many of you have been asking for my everyday makeup routine so today I am going to share with you what I do on a day to day basis. I love how soft and simple this appears. However, there are actually several steps involved to get this flawless finish. So if quick and easy is what you crave, then swipe on some gloss, a little concealer and some mascara, for the rest of us who have the time and desire an airbrushed finish, then let’s get started. :-)
Tips
- Use a salmon colored concealer to correct any dark circles under your eyes.
- Custom mix your foundation.
- Use a foundation 1 -2 darker on your neck to keep your face and neck looking even.
- Use a flat sponge and only use powder on your t-zone or where your skin tends to get the oiliest.
- Contour under your cheekbones, along the temples and hairline to add dimension to your face.
- Use a blush that compliments your skin tone.
- Highlight the high points of your cheekbones.
- Define the brows with a pencil or gel to frame the face keeping most the color on the outer brow. Fill in any excess with a shadow and use a gel to keep them in place.
- Use a paint pot or Maybelline Eye Tattoo or anything with a thicker consistency, this will cover any broken veins and conceal the lids.
- Add a pop of shimmer on the lids staying below the crease.
- Make sure to curl your lashes and add a couple of coats of mascara.
- Keep the lips light by adding a soft gloss.

As you can see I keep it fairly simple with my eyes and lips and focus on making sure my skin looks as flawless as possible. You can switch out your lid color to change things up or even add a winged eyeliner to your look. I know this looks like a lot of steps, but once you get the hang of this it’s quick and easy to do. :-) I hope this helps as you are getting ready for those hectic work days and helps you achieve stunning skin.
