St Ives Bay
Ad – Press Stay
I’ll admit, I may have forgotten how to put together a blog post. What was a daily occurrence once upon a time has slipped quite a way down my to-do list, but I’m forcing myself back into it every now and then, if not for those of you that still stop by to read my longer-form bits and bobs, for myself and the decade-plus of memories and personal stories that I’ve shared here. It’s some of those memories I’d like to post today. Forgive me if my writing is a tad shoddy, I need some practise.
Last month I gathered some friends for a long-awaited trip to the South West coast and a stay at the newly-opened Three Mile Beach. Looking over St Ives Bay, Three Mile Beach is a collection of 15 luxury beach houses, all pastel in hue and jam-packed with everything you could ever need for a stay away from home. In fact, I think they possibly had more amenities than I have at home, so comfort was certainly not lacking.
After a train ride along the coast and a short taxi, we arrived at our home for the weekend. Our beach house featured three bedrooms and plenty of extra space besides. We nabbed bedrooms, had a good nosey in the cupboards (as is customary when you check in anywhere, correct?), and then quickly put our shoes back on to rush outside and catch the last of the sun.
